Mandarin Metal
Mandarin Metal is the first piece of a series, the Destinations, inspired by travel experiences.
"I've become fascinated by the possibilities of portraying places in the world with my music. This piece, Mandarin Metal, was being developed when I thought of creating modern music about foreign, ancient, as well as modern destinations. I have studied and kept keen interest in art history ideas, this was composed with concurrent past, present and future histories in mind, and offered a new category to explore, Music for Places, Destinations."
